Colorado Gives Day is our state’s biggest day of generosity. An event where people across Colorado come together to support local non-profits doing life-changing work.
Hosted by the Colorado Gives Foundation, this special day helps amplify your impact by offering an Incentive Fund. Meaning, a portion of every dollar we raise on this day gets matched!
The more we raise, the more bonus funds we receive.

In years past, Colorado Gives Day has brought in an average of $65,000 in donations for 4P4L. That’s not just a number — it’s life-saving funding that allows us to plan our medical care, supply needs, transport, foster support, and adoption outreach for the months ahead.
We aren’t a big corporate-backed nonprofit. We are proudly powered by you — our individual donors, fosters, volunteers, and animal lovers who believe every life deserves a second chance.
This annual day of giving has become a cornerstone in our fundraising calendar.
And frankly, we count on it.
It's also one of the most inspiring times of the year for us!

Early giving opens November 1, 2025! Schedule your gift ahead of time on our Colorado Gives page — it still counts toward Colorado Gives Day totals and helps us get a strong start.
Give on Giving Tuesday (12/2/25)
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity, and when you give through Colorado Gives, your donation not only joins a worldwide movement but also supports our local mission and qualifies for bonus matching dollars.
