Transparency & Trust
14 Years of Rescue in Colorado
Since 2012, 4 Paws 4 Life has been committed to responsible rescue, rehabilitation, and placement. We believe transparency builds trust — and trust allows us to do more life-saving work.
Our Impact
2012 - 2025
Our impact is built through consistent, hands-on work — supporting animals from intake to adoption and beyond.
Each year, we care for animals in need through rescue efforts, medical treatment, transport coordination, and placement into adoptive homes. While every case looks different, our focus remains the same: creating real outcomes for animals who need it most.

All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption (our commitment to ending the homeless pet population)
How We Operate
- Rescue & Intake – Partnering with shelters and our local communities to take in animals in need
- Medical Care & Rehabilitation – Providing treatment, recovery support, and ongoing care for both routine and complex cases
- Spay & Neuter – Ensuring animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption to help reduce overpopulation and support long-term solutions
- Transport & High-Risk Rescue Partnerships – We partner with shelters in high-risk areas to transport animals to safety, giving them a second chance in communities with higher adoption rates
- Adoption & Placement – Connecting animals with families and ensuring thoughtful, lasting placements
- Mission-Driven Boarding (Funding the Rescue) – Our boarding services provide high-quality care for pets while directly funding rescue efforts — allowing us to say yes to more animals in need
This model allows us to operate responsibly while continuing to expand our impact year over year.
