Our Team

Our Team

Our Team works tirelessly to help those animals in danger of euthanasia in high-kill shelters across the country.  We are thankful for the opportunity.

Despite never being in the same city on any given day of the week, Toni sprouted and nurtured one of the most successful animal rescue organizations in CO. Toni’s inspiration is her beloved rescue dalmatian CeeCee, who passed on to the Rainbow Bridge in 2006.  While her day job as a traveling nurse anesthetist keeps her absurdly busy, she somehow finds the spare hours to stay involved with all facets of the organization as a volunteer board member. With the few snippets of time that she has left, she enjoys spending those minutes with her husband and her very spoiled Shih Tzus Cinco, Kona, and Vera.

Medical Care Director, Vice Chairperson

Tina is from Manhattan, Kansas (aka The Little Apple!).  She lives now in Denver with her husband, newborn daughter and their 2 dogs, Sophie, a yellow lab and Cowboy,  a beautiful 130 pound RESCUE Great Pyrenees.  She has a degree in Marketing and International Business and worked in medical sales until she decided to start a family.  She fosters many dogs for 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue as well as taking on many other daily operational tasks, including treasurer of the Board of Directors.

“I grew up with animals because my dad was a veterinarian. I started fostering in 2012 and soon realized I had a passion for dog rescue. It is such a great feeling to see your foster dog get adopted and find their loving forever homes.”

Board Member

Hello! I’m a 4 Paws 4 Life volunteer. My home is filled with love from my three pups! George Jones is a rescued Greyhound from the CO Greyhound Rescue. Ruby Tuesday, on my lap, is a rescue from California and, Mojo, a Rat Terrier that I have had for 12 years. I am passionate about working with the rescue dogs through 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue.  I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend with our volunteers, fosters and adoption coordinators….they all are very special people who love what they do! Their significant others deserve thanks for putting up with us “crazy dog people” ! I want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful adopters that have added our dogs into their loving families! There is a special place in heaven for all of you!

Joanne rescued her first dog at the age of 8 years old and was a perfect fit for 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue. She joined our team in January 2014 where her primary responsibilities included overseeing the administrative guidelines of the rescue, ensuring standards were met.  She has recently taken over the role of Fundraising & Events Manager.

With 3 dogs and 3 cats of her own, Joanne is constantly fostering homeless animals and doing what she can to help get them off the streets and back to health.  Animal rescue is definitely her passion!
